The EGT's remaining days were going to eventually come...but they came blazing fast! However, the waning days of this awesome tour went out with a bang. BlizzCon was like no other gaming event that I've attended on this tour. Blizzard put on one intense show for its hardcore fans!
So many cool areas were setup in various convention halls with creative lighting and fitting music for all the Blizzard gamers. The EGT's glamourous display was conveniently setup right next to the Blizzard Starcraft/Warcraft RTS stage. We offered gamers tons of Dell and Alienware PC's for them to log onto their WOW accounts and play for as long as they'd like. We also went old school and loaded a couple of our kiosks with Starcraft and Warcraft III.
With this all going on, on top of our sweet giveaways, our whole display was absolutely packed! And these Blizz gamers were dedicated and mildly crazy because on Saturday we had a variety of gamers shaving eyebrows, heads, and tattooi ...

WOW what a time! BlizzCon 2008 was just an amazing time. I loved how some of you were dressed up like your character.
This was the biggest gaming event I’ve been to so far. I saw thousands of people come into the Extreme Gaming Tour. It was crazy!
Unfortunately, this is the end of the tour. The Extreme Gaming Tour has been awesome. I’ve met awesome gamers and even some professionals. Imagine that—professional gamers. I saw Starcraft tournaments with brackets and everything.
We were playing World of Warcraft a ton, but we also had Starcraft and Warcraft on hand. We also had tons of FREE Alie ...

It's like the circus here! Seriousl\y. I think the video speaks for itself. I'm actually writing this from behind the DJ booth as WoW challenges are going on right in front of me. I'll be posting a highlight reel of all the insanity from this event (including eyebrow shaving) once the EGT rolls out. of Blizzcon. It's like I'm the ring leader of the freak show!

This weekend, the EGT attended E for All in Los Angeles and of course it was a hit! Our intense gaming display was visited by many people of all ages and personalities.
Tons and tons of gamers stopped by my 3D station to check out what the big screen TV and cool looking glasses were for. As expected, they were blown away by the amazing 3D gameplay! Many were so intrigued, that I proceeded to go into how it all worked if they were to have a setup like ours at their home.
Also, the inside of the trailer was constantly packed with gamers addicted to Lost Planet colonies and World of Warcraft. A lot of them at our footprint looked very unique because they were sporting our awesome, FREE, Alienware cinch bags.
All in all, E for All was a blast and I hope to be back next year for a repeat performance! Our next and last stop on the EGT is Anaheim for the beloved BlizzCon!

I've been in LA quite a while, and you know how to have some fun! I spent this weekend at E For All at the LA Convention Center.
If you don't remember me, I'm the guy who probably helped you out with our really cool game Crysis.
I liked a lot of the vendors around us, especially our neighbors with a cool obstacle course that had people jumping through McDonald-like playballs.
What was your favorite part about E For All 2008?
It's too bad the event is already over. Time really does fly when you're having a good time.
Now it's time to pack my bags and head down to Anaheim for BlizzCon.
I've never been, but I hear that's a blast!
Stay posted!!!

It's day three for the 2008 E For All 2008 convention in Los Angeles, California.
We will witness the final events and contests as the top competitors from the weekend will battle it out.
A booth right next to us, Fatality, is having a very cool contest going on. They are teamed up with Best Buy giving out three $300 gift cards each day. All you have to do is have one of the top three times for an extreme obstacle course, which involves riding a bike, running over a balance beam, and playing various interactive computer games.
To all the gamers who came out, you've seen me upstairs in the trailer quite a bit. Up there I've been watching you guys dominate on Lost Planet, Space Seige, and World of Warcraft (WOW).
In fact, ye ...

Ok...we're gearing up for E for All and will be ready to roll by the weekend.
We've seen some good Guitar Hero 3 scores lately, but I'm expecting some high scores this weekend. I can't wait.
At PAX in Seattle, we had great scores. But I"m curious to see how you Californians are going to do compared to the state of Washington!

Alright guys, I just left Roundrock and Austin in Texas. It is THE place to be.
The football, the music, and just about everything makes me want to go back right to Texas. You guys are so serious about some Longhorn football!
To start the week off, we went to Roundrock to show Dell what we are doing. The "Dell Campus" is amazing.
After the Dell Campus, we went to the University of Texas campus for the Rice football game. I saw so many tailgater's it was crazy. I have never seen a campus that lives and breathes football.
But it's not just football. You guys on campus can also doing some serious gaming. I liked the way you guys really practiced hard to learn Guitar Hero 3!
We have Los Angeles next. I will let you guys know more about our next event when I get there!

It's a storied tradition that I have not had the opportunity to take a part of until yesterday. What I'm talking about, is a Texas home football game in Austin. 100,000 fans were expected, many of them arriving in the morning hours for some all day tailgating before 6pm kickoff. All this for a game just against little, old Rice University; but it is Texas and football is no joke there!
Wouldn't you know with all this going on, the EGT would make an appearance. I mean, afterall, we are good at finding large crowds and setting up our footprint for people to splurge on fun!
This is exactly what happened. People had a blast stopping by to play video games during tailgating and on the way into the game. Also, people absolutely loved all the Alienware bags that we had to giveaway. What's better than grilling, football and cool machines to game on?!?
Next on the EGT platter is E for All in L.A.! See all of you there soon!

Families, friends, employees, and just about anyone else you can think of marveled at the Extreme Gaming Tour yesterday at the University of Texas campus in Austin, Texas.
Yes, we attracted "Texas Tailgaters" all day--even after the game (which Texas won 52-10). A lot of people really liked Need for Speed with the 3-D goggles.
It did help that the Longhorns won big time against Rice. After the game, I almost thought it was a holiday they way fans were so happy. It was party central for sure.
But I didn't just entertain guests inside the EGT. I went outside our tent and handed out hundreds of free Alienware backpacks. Everyone absouletly loved the alien on the backpack and people came running from blocks away because they wanted their very own Alienware backpack.
Who doesn't like free stuff, right? Especially when it's useful.
If you ...

So yesterday the Extreme Gaming Tour landed in Roundrock, Texas, to show all the Dell employees what we've been doing all summer long. And to let them experience the games and gaming computers in our tent.
Some employees loved the tent so much that they came back a second time when they finished working. Not only did they come, but they also brought their family as well.
That was really cool.
The event went great. It felt good to finally let the Dell employees experience what we've been doing and giving consumers all summer. I'd have to say the most popular game for all employees was Lost Planet, which is located in the inside of our truck. One employee came after work with his family and played for over an hour.
I have to mention that I was amazed at Dell's headquarte ...

Yesterday, the EGT got to show what it was made of at the Dell Campus Headquarters in Round Rock, Texas. And I think it's fair to say that we showed off an incredible, exciting display at that!
From a distance, you could see Dell employees pouring from their workspaces headed towards our display to check out all the cool systems and to grab a bite of course. They all seemed to love our setup, inside and out and many employees I think pushed their breaks overtime so that they could keep gaming!
Since I was controlling our very cool Need for Speed 3D gaming station, I was able to assist people in setting up the 3D glasses and explaining to them how the technology worked. Once people were ready to go play and/or view the game, they were absolutely amazed at the 3D quality gameplay.
It was a terrific stop at the Dell Campus and I KNOW Dell employees thought the same! Next, just a short hop down the road to the University of Texas campus for ...

We made a quick stop at the Dell Campus yesterday to show off the EGT. While I expected the campus to be big, I never expected that it would be this BIG. Holy cow. I tried to take pictures, but I'd need a hot air balloon to get a view of the whole campus. At one point, my co-worker Erick and I drove down to the warehouse/dock portion of the campus and it took over 10 minutes. It's not a campus, it's like a small city down there. I guess everything really is bigger in Texas.
We had a chance to reunite with a few of the Dell sales reps who we had met on tour, including everyone's favorite ninja, Yanni. We'll be strutting our stuff at the Texas Longhorns game this Saturday night, so stop by and see us if you're around Austin!

We are heading to Austin right now. I can't wait to get down there--finally some heat compared to the Pacific Northwest weather!
This is my first blog entry on the Extreme Gaming Tour. I'll be adding some video later, but I just wanted to get something up so you guys can know what to expect.
I will let youi know that so far the EGT has been great, and that I've been on for nearly a month now. I love the impact gamers have on computers and how detailed you all get when behind the screen.
Stay tuned for more!

Ok, so the EGT has been awesome so far. We were in Seattle, Washington for nearly two weeks at the Penny Arcade Expo and the Puyallup Fair. At PAX, everyone there knew what they were doing. In fact, I was even being taught a few things. The Puyallup Fair was cool too. There were quite a few gamers that we saw at PAX just a week earlier, so it was fun to reunite with them again. It was also pretty cool because Darth Vader and his boys strolled into our tent. This is just about it for now, but I just wanted to give everyone a heads up on how much fun the Extreme Gaming Tour is. I'll be seeing you all in Texas very soon!

All the good things I had heard about the Puyallup Fair in Washington, sure enough, were true once the EGT had a chance to stop by for a visit. The city of Puyallup had a beautiful fairgrounds layout and it indeed was extremely well attended. Each of the three days we were there, I noticed that there were large crowds in attendance who where anxiously wandering around the fair looking at many different displays. The EGT saw many of these fair goers stop by our eye catching display. People absolutely loved all of our games that they had to choose from! I even heard one youngster say that the game, Lost Planet Colonies, was better than the ever popular game, Halo. Plus, people could not get enough of the first person shooter, Crysis. The incredible graphic detail and realism, just magnetized people to those Dell and Alienware systems with Crysis loaded on it. Puyallup was without a doubt what it was talked up to be and more; plus we had great weather during our stay which always makes it nice! The next stop for ...
